First you need to decide where you would like to put the gate. Determine center of drive, face of post should be 7' on 14' gate opening, from center.

Dig a hole for post should be a minimum of 18" in diameter and a little more than 4' deep (so bottom of post does NOT hit the bottom of the hole.

Run a string across drive to determine 90 degree with drive. Gate will be 6" above angle iron that align with string Trench is for IFR or Double swing

Level 2X4's on ground even with the grade. Set post in hole with brackets on boards.

Shim to make sure post is plum.

Use boards to stabilize post while adding concrete until it is set.

Brace with tabs at top of post.

Can use forming pins to hold braces in place.

Fill hole with Ready Mix concrere (ODOT class C with air, 3" slump) make sure post does not move while adding crete.

Allow at least 72 hours to set. Remove braces and break off tabs with a large wrench.

Remove bottom elevaction angles with large wrench as well.

Post is now ready for the gate to be hung.

Hang gate on hinges, assure ball bearing in hinges, adding a little grease will hold them in place.

Line gate up so that it is level. There should be 4" between gate and post. Tighten adjustable hinge bolts.

Bolt on Actuator arm to post and to gate on brackets provided.

Attach controller box to angles on side of post with 1/4" SS bolts. Plug actuator into control box, per instruction in manual.

It is best to add pillars after gate is installed, can put foundation in at same time as setting post.

By putting in foundation in at same time can put pillar close enough to post.
