We are looking to hire an Office Assistant to join our team! You will be responsible for assisting with many tasks required to support a small company.


  • Manage records and information

  • Answer phones and dispatch service calls

  • Manage service call data; enter data in Quick Books and Time Management Software

  • Assist with submitting payroll for processing

  • Assist with managing inventory

  • Ship parts to customers

  • Accounts Receivable - collections

  • Accounts Payable

  • Administer Safety Program; with support from employee management service

  • Maintain written standard operating procedures for this position

  • Perform other office tasks (replenish office supplies, distribute mail, custodial duties, etc.)


  • Previous experience in administrative and customer service fields

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Deadline and detail-oriented

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Strong computer skill, ability to learn software and use proficiently

Job Title: Service Manager/Technician
Reports To: President
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: The Gate Service Manager/Technician is responsible for service call dispatch, service contracts, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance service for gates and access controls. Bussiness oportunity!! Skys the limit for the right person. We are open to profit sharing or partnership for the service portion of our bussiness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of gates and access controls.
• Complies with OSHA safety and health rules.
• Works closely with the President to schedule maintenance and installation as needed.
• Contacts clients to gather necessary information.
• Provides telephone service support.
• Maintains inventory and supplies on Company service vehicle.
• Assists with installation of gates and access controls.
• Performs the wiring needed for installation and programming.
• Contacts technical support as needed.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
• Customer Service- Ability to satisfy the expectations and requirements of customers. Displays courtesy and sensitivity and responds promptly to service requests. Identifies customer needs and explains services clearly. Handles difficult situations.
• Dependability- Ability to be trusted or relied upon to act in the way required or expected.

• Standing Alone- Will stand up and be counted. Doesn't shirk personal responsibility. Can be counted on when times are tough. Willing to be the only champion for an idea or position. Is comfortable working alone on a tough assignment.
• Technical Support- Maintain an effective technical support environment that allows for the day-to-day operation of the firms business, and servicing of its clients.
• Time Management- Uses his/her time effectively and efficiently. Values time. Concentrates his/her efforts on the more important priorities. Gets more done in less time than others. Can attend to a broader range of activities.
Experience and Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to power tools and may need personal protective equipment. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, and weather elements.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 to $30.00 /hour
